That truly was...a break

Today is the first day back in class after Thanksgiving break, and I am supposed to be writing a 20 page paper right now, so, of course, I thought it the perfect opportunity to write a new post!  This will have to be kind of short, since I really don't have the time to be doing this, but I felt like writing something.  

I have to say...my Thanksgiving break was AMAZING!  Jeff and I headed up to his parents' place on Tuesday evening and spent the week with them until Friday evening.  We had a really great time, and it truly was a real vacation from everything: school, work, home, and all, which I didn't realize I needed as much as I did.  We spent most of our time there watching movies, sleeping in, playing with the dogs, visiting, reading, and being lazy.  It was pretty dang nice!  

Friday night, Shannon, Jeff, Calin, and I decorated our apartment for Christmas.  It looks pretty nice, and even though Shannon and I probably own more Christmas decorations than any healthy college students should, we still want to decorate more!  It's kind of funny to me that one of my favorite things about Christmas is putting up the decorations.
