So, I know I've only been back from my freakin' awesome road trip for a few days, but yesterday, I decided it was time to spice up my life again.
Every Tuesday, I play ultimate frisbee with a group of my friends. Last night while we were playing, I wasn't paying attention at this one particular moment, because the other team was throwing, and I wasn't anywhere near any of their team members (yeah defense!). Anyway, out of nowhere, the frisbee colided at about 100 MPH with my forehead. Maybe not that fast, but you get the picture. I thought to myself, "Hmmm...I wonder if that will bruise?" Well, within the next minute, my forehead started to feel funny. I felt it with my hand, and a HUGE goose egg had already formed. Everyone kept looking at my forehead with really disgusted looks.
I didn't realize why until I got home and saw my face in the mirror, and saw that a golf ball had somehow mysteriously appearred under my skin. It IS disgusting, and I got a minor concussion from it, but it's a pretty sweet battle wound!! I don't know why I'm so enthralled with my scars and such.
After a few days of healing. The swelling has come down quite a bit, but it still looks like I have some extremely dramatic purple/red/black/green/yellow/blue mixed eye shadow going on. The bruise has spread down below my eye, up above me eyebrow, to my nose on one side, and almost to my hairline on the other side. Mmmm....

LaDawn!! Yeah man! I just found your blog! Awesome I'm findin so many peoples blogs today!! ANywho sorry to hear about the frisbee, you should take pics and post em! Onetime I ran my forehead into a the corner of a car door and I had a nice goose egg as well! Anywho hope life is going radical!
Dang that is insane!! I'm glad your bruise and swelling are somewhat better! at least it didn't cut your head at all! That would not be pretty!
Yeah...I'm glad it didn't cut my head either...except a little cut on my eyebrow. I'm almost healed now...just a small bump and a little discoloration. I'm almost normal again! Well...as normal as I was beforehand. :o)
